A milestone for quantitative plasma proteomics
We are proud to announce that data generated using our DiscoveryEdge™175 panel is now publicly available on the Human Protein Atlas — one of the most widely used open-access databases in life science research.
The study
Targeted mass-spectrometry based proteomics was applied to a longitudinal pregnancy cohort, comprising serial plasma samples collected from pregnant women in each trimester (first, second and third) to capture dynamic proteome changes over gestation.
The measurements demonstrated a median coefficient of variation of 7.5%, achieved without any batch normalization — a testament to the inherent reproducibility of the qRePS™ platform.
Why this matters
Having ProteomEdge data hosted on the Human Protein Atlas provides the scientific community with a validated, publicly accessible reference dataset for absolute plasma proteomics. It also validates the DiscoveryEdge™175 panel as a reliable tool for large-scale population studies.
We invite the community to explore the data and reach out if you are interested in applying the panel to your own cohort studies.
